Data Warehouse (Cognos)

Pre-defined reports are available on the Cognos Space Reports menu.  All new ManageSpace users will automatically be granted access to the same departments in Cognos Space Reports as requested for ManageSpace.

Current Survey Manage Space data is downloaded nightly into Cognos.  Once a Survey cycle is complete, the data is archived in Cognos based on the Report Year and no further changes are made to the archived data.

Cognos Report Year 2023P is the archived FY23 PLANNING Survey data

Cognos Report Year 2023 is the archived FY23 ANNUAL Survey data

Cognos Report Year 2024P is the FY24 PLANNING Survey data (data is subject to change until archival at the end of May 2024).

  • IDC Function Reports Folder

ManageSpace (use Google Chrome)

Pre-defined reports are available on the report menu in ManageSpace.

  • Overall Status Report (Real-Time): High-Level Departmental View of Your Space.  Gives a breakdown of where the survey is at with regards to completion.  This is more applicable during the ANNUAL Survey.
    • The Top Panel is a list of departments and a breakdown of the status of the survey records.
    • The Bottom Panel displays the splits related to the department selected in the Top Panel.  Clicking the XLS button here will export the room list for the selected department.
  • Departments with no Surveyors (Real-Time):  More of an admin style report and related to the process of Defining Survey Recipients. This allows the Space Team to confirm which departments currently have no surveyors assigned.
  • Current Surveyors (Real-Time): Look up contacts in other departments.  The report lists all the users who have been assigned to departments for surveying.
  • Exception Reports – These reports identify records that could impede the archival of the survey.
  • Survey Split
  • Recharge 85 (Real-Time): Determine Space that Recharge Center key identifiers are assigned to.
  • Room Lookup (Real-Time): Find out who has department access to a room
  • Survey Audit: Rooms that need correction appear on this list.  The report is updated nightly, so if you make corrections to your rooms you will need to wait until the next day to see the rooms fall off the Survey Audit report.
